Oriflame The One BB Lip Balm Review

Today I am going to review Oriflame The One BB Lip Balm which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. As you may know how much I love lip balms. Lip balm as we know is a waxy substance applied on the lips to keep them from chapping, by moisturizing them. This lip balm claims that it does sooth and protect lips, give long-lasting hydration for up to 24H. It is infused with wheat germ oil and aloe vera for complete lip nourishment and protection. It helps to reduce appearance of rough chapped lips and fine lines associated with dryness.

Packaging of this lip balm is most classier. The white casing looks really chic and classy. I like how it looks like lipstick and sturdy packaging. It is more hygienic than potted lip balms, where we have to dip our finger in. It smells really good. It has quite soft and creamy texture. It has pearlescent particles in it which gives a little volume to lips. The minute shimmers in it are not overpowering at all. The lip balm is in peachy colour but it applies almost clear with very subtle peach undertone.

It glides smoothly on lips. The fine creamy texture of this lip balm helps to keep my lips soft and moisture. The staying power of this lip balm is average. Like after eating and drinking I have to re-apply it. I can not comment on if it gives 24H long-lasting hydration if applied ones, As I have to apply it couple of times in between to keep my lips moisturised. But yes this lip balm is really hydrating and It gives lips smooth, rich and glossy effect. This lip balm is not sticky at all and sits nicely on lips.

Overall it is good lip balm but I don’t find anything special about this lip balm as it does normal job like other lip balm does. It retails for only £4.95 so at this price point nothing can go wrong. Have you tried Oriflame The One BB Lip Balm? What do you think about Oriflame The One BB Lip Balm? Lip Smacker’s Coca Cola Lip Balms Review

Today I am going to review Lip Smacker’s Coca Cola Lip Balms(£5.00) which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. As you may know I am lip balm sucker, I have loads of lip balms in my collection and I always want more and love to try new ones. This lip balms honestly taste like you have smeared the drinks across your lips. They are less stickiness and more like balminess. Lip Smacker has very huge Lip Balm Collection, when I say huge it is really very very huge. They have Original, Coca Cola, Disney, Dr Pepper and Candy Shop collection in their lip balm range. Their whole collection looks very cute and so adorable.

The three balms I have been sent from Coca Cola range are Coca-Cola Classic, Coca-Cola Cherry and Coca-Cola Vanilla. All the lip balms have awesome cool design and packaging. They twist nicely. Packaging is very sturdy and travel friendly. When I open the lid it gives nice smell of coca cola. Feel like to smell them over and over. All the lip balms glide smoothly on lips and not sticky at all that’s the thing I look for while buying lip balms.

When I apply Coca Cola Classic lip balm I feel so tempted as it actually smells like fizzy Coca Coca. The smell is nearly identical to the original smell of Coca Cola. This lip balm apply very smoothly on lips and it makes lips soft and smoother and add nice subtle shine to your lips. This lip balm is not tinted, when I saw it first time I thought this would be a tinted balm and would apply on lips as bit of brown but it is clear on lips. Coca Cola Cherry smells really sweet so if you like sweet smell then this is the balm for you to try from this range. This lip balm is slightly tinted and it is very sheer and subtle. It just makes your lips more pink/red than normal. Cherry lip balm also glides smoothly and not sticky on lips. Coca Cola Vanilla lip balm I just loved it. It has mixed smell of the classic and cherry lip balms and scent of this balm is just so lovely. This lip balm again feels so soft on lips and it is moisturising.

All the three lip balms stay on for a while pretty much like any of the normal basic lip balms and keeps your lips moisturized. If you have dry lips I think it won’t work. I also use this lip balms as base before I apply my lipstick and it adds nice soft shine to my lips and also my lipstick glides very smoothly on my lips. This lip balms are really fun products to use and play! This pack of three lip balms is a nice little gift and they are pretty similar to each other and they smells differently and the cherry flavour having a slight tint to it and it is very subtle and otherwise they are clear. This lip balms are not matte finish, you get a slightly glossy pout and they are not sticky at all. They leave your lips with a sweet scent of soda that is not overpowering and also keeps your lips soft and smooth.

Overall I am quite happy with this balms and they are so adorable and I love to keep them in my handbag as they look so different from other lip balms and I am sure when you get it out of your bag lots of people will be curious to know what you have got that tube thing in Coca Cola. If you find them somewhere in store I think you shall grab them as they will be a nice cute little treat for you.

You can buy Lip Smacker’s Lip Balms from Superdrug and Claire’s store.

Dr.PAWPAW Original Clear Balm and Tinted Ultimate Red Balm Review

Today I am going to review Dr.PAWPAW Lip Balms which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. I have heard so much about Dr.PAWPAW lip balms but never tried them. So when I was given chance to try them I was really excited as I am really obsessed with lip balms. I have been sent Dr.PAWPAW Original Clear Balm (£6.95) and Dr.PAWPAW Tinted Ultimate Red Balm (£6.95). Dr.PAWPAW is 100% British made multi-purpose balm with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. The smooth, long-lasting formula combines the soothing properties of fermented Pawpaw with other natural ingredients to create a nourishing formula, which comes in a handy 25ml tube.

Dr.PAWPAW Balm Ingredients and Benefits:

Carica Papaya – This nutrient-rich fruit is full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamins A and C and acetogenins which, when applied externally, helps in aiding skin repair, adding moisture and smoothing and tightening the skin.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil – Olive oil has a variety of benefits for skin and hair, due to its vast amount of antioxidants. Olive Oil contains Vitamin A and E but the most potent compound is Hydroxytyrosol. This rare antioxidant prevents free radical damage on skin cells and is absorbed deeply into the skin. It has many anti-inflammatory properties and is great for dry skin and hair.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice – A desert plant with amazing abilities to absorb and restore moisture. It contains more than 200 different plant constituents that promote glowing, youthful looking skin and hair.

Dr.PAWPAW Lip Balms come in squeezy tubes and they are handbag friendly. I love the bold colourful packaging of this lip balms and they really look cute. Dr.PAWPAW comes in three different colours – Original Clear, Tinted Pink Peach and Tinted Red. They are fragrance free. They retail at £6.95 each, there is a 3 for 2 offer too. The product is quite thick and sometimes I struggle to get the product out of the tube. I have to roll the tube in between my palms to warm it.

Dr.PAWPAW Lip Balms are a multipurpose balm used for your lips, skin, cuticles, nails and hair. The original balm is great for lips, cuticles and nails. I have been using original lip balm on my lips and cuticles and it really makes them soft and smooth. The red tinted lip balm colour is like blood but on lips it turns into a sheer tomato colour so it does not look exactly same as product. The tinted lip balm I tried applying as a cheek blush but I find it kind of sticky. It did not completely absorb into the skin. So I love to use it on my lips only. These lip balms hydrate, protect and soothe your lips. You can carry tinted lip balm in your handbag and apply it throughout the day to add lovely colour to your lips. This tubes going to last very very long time as you just need a little product to apply.

Seascape Peppermint Lip Balm Review

Today I am going to review Seascape Peppermint Lip Balm which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. I always carry lip balm in my handbag. I can not live without a lip balm. Seascape Peppermint Lip Balm is the latest welcome addition to my lip balm family. I have a huge range of lip balms in my collection as I am so obsessed with lip balms. Seascape Peppermint Lip Balm is made with 100% natural Peppermint essential oil with Jersey Beeswax, Jersey Honey and Jojoba Seed Oil to moisturise and protect dry, chapped lips. This lip balm has no parabens, no silicones, no SLS, no petroleum, no artificial colours and no artificial fragrances.

I love the cute packaging of this lip balm so much, it comes in small 10ml glass tub which costs £10.00. I especially like the box which is embossed with flowers and the pretty floral pattern on the inside. I love the blue floral design on the lid and glass tub gives expensive touch to this lip balm. Generally I prefer lip balm in tube or stick form. This lip balm comes in glass tub so you have to wash your hands before you apply to lips. I am a bit of germ freak so this lip balm is not really convenient for me to use on the go and it makes it a little less travel friendly. The formula of this lip balm is quite hard but after rubbing on fingertips it starts to melt slightly. This lip balm is very light and non-sticky. It glides on my lips smoothly.

As I said the formula of this lip balm is quite hard so first time it was bit hard to get any product onto my finger. I had to swirl it few times to get some product on my finger to apply. After few uses it is now much easier to take out the product. It has lovely fresh peppermint scent and it is not overpowering at all. I have used few other Peppermint Oil Lip Balms which tingle when applied on lips but this lip balm does not tingle. It leaves my lips feeling smooth and soft. I use this lip balm as a base before I apply lipstick or lipgloss which makes a huge difference it allows lipstick to glide smoothly. I am also using it before going to bed. It is very hydrating and perfect for drier lips that really need shot of moisture.

Overall I am really happy with this lip balm and it definitely become my favourites. If you have dried or chapped lips I think you shall give try to Seascape Peppermint Lip Balm as it really moisturise your lips. I know some people just don’t like minty smell but as I said it is not overpowering at all and after 5 minutes or so the smell is gone.

Have you tried any products from Seascape? What’s your favourite lip product for dry lips? You can buy Seascape products directly from there website, here.

LipGlam Natural Lanolin Lip Balm Review

Recently I have been sent LipGlam Natural Lanolin Lip Balm to try and review on my blog. This lip balm is the multifunctional moisturizer. This natural lip balm is made of lanolin and makes your lips soft and provides 8 hours long hydration. LipGlam is 100% natural and specifically developed to soothe sensitive skin. It can also be used for dry skin relief and is proven to reduce skin roughness by 40%. Simple, natural and indulgent, LipGlam makes it easy to have soft, beautiful lips every day. The lip balm can also be used on cuticles, dry patches of skin, eyebrows and split ends

LipGlam’s key ingredient is lanolin, a natural emollient extracted from sheep’s wool. Lanolin is one of nature’s finest oils, holding moisture in the skin for deep hydration. We blend it with natural botanicals, resulting in a readily absorbed balm that replenishes instantly. LipGlam leaves your lips soft and dewy, with an instant plumping effect. It revitalizes your skin’s natural barrier and resistance to environmental toxins. By optimizing your natural defenses, it reactivates inner radiance and ensures a healthy glow.

LipGlam Natural Lanolin Lip Balm comes in a white tube with gold design on tube and it has gold lid. The packaging of this product is very much attractive to me. It holds 12ml of product and costs only £9.99. LipGlam comes with slanted tip that makes it easy to apply as a lip balm. The consistency of this lip balm is very thick and you need to rub it between fingers to get it useable. If the tube is cold then you should either warm it in hands or put it in hot water for 60 seconds. Once it is warm then it is very easy to apply.

The actual color of the product is bit yellow but it applies clear and melts on the skin. It is fragrance and flavour free. I have been using it for few days and I find it very useful and it is really multi tasking. It makes my lips more silky and soft. It is really long-lasting even after drinking. I have also used it on my knees and elbows, this lip balm leaves them feeling soft. If you apply it to a large area then I think it can feel a bit tacky but you can always mix it with your hand cream or lotion.

I thought to apply it on my eyebrows just to test it, the effect of it was pretty good, my eyebrows were looking really on point though. I have not tested it as mascara primer and for split ends as I don’t have split ends. I really love to use it on my lips as a balm and primer. I found that my lipstick is lasting bit longer if I apply this balm as a primer. This lip balm is not sticky at all.

So, you can use it 7 ways! This is a product that will make your skin softer and dewy! It’s an excellent lip balm, it lasts ages, it is really moisturising and it looks natural. So I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
