The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel and Cream Review

I know I have been trying and reviewing many of The Body Shop Shower Gels and today I have one more review on TBS Shower Gel – Satsuma Shower Gel and Cream(Rs. 425). This is my 3rd favourite of TBS shower gel. If you love fresh and fruity fragrance will fall in love with this shower gel. Create a zesty, invigorating shower experience! This refreshing, cleansing gel uses Satsuma peel essential oil to provide a natural citrus fragrance. The Satsuma Shower Gel is enriched with Community Fair Trade Organic Soya Oil from Brazil to repair the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore smoothness and suppleness. The soap-free, lather-rich formula is less drying to the skin than soap.

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip open cap. The consistency of this shower gel is neither too thick nor too runny. It just perfect! I love the dark orange colour of this shower gel, it looks attractive on my bathroom shelf. It smells so so good! It is a sweet orange scent that does not get weird, is not too fruity or pungent, and is a nice pick-me-up in the morning. You just need small amout of product on body puff as it lathers up really well. It does not make the shower slippery. The smell lingers on me for 1-2 hours and makes me feel refreshed and rejuvenated. After shower my bathroom smells of oranges for entire day. This shower gel does not dry my skin. My skin feels so clean and healthy for entire day after taking shower with it.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a shower gel that not only smells great, but actually keeps you feeling lovely, refreshing and clean throughout the day! Satsuma is my absolute favorite scent from the Body Shop! I love the way it wakes me up in the shower. I see myself repurchasing this again and again. I am obsessed!

e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Lipsticks Review

Today I am reviewing few more e.l.f. cosmetics lip products. In my e.l.f. haul I mainly got lip products and blushes. In my previous posts I have reviewed e.l.f. Lip Balms, Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks and Blush Palettes. Today I am talking about e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks(£2.00). e.l.f. Essential Lipstick range have total 8 beautiful shades and I got 4 of them to try. Who does not love Lipsticks? Lipstick is one of my favourite things. I have way too many lipticks in my collection and I keep buying them as I love to try new different brands and shades. Lipstick is essential to a complete makeup look. I wear lipstick almost everyday even if I am at home, if not lipstick then the tinted lip balm. I love some colour on my lips as it helps me feel and look put together. It makes you feel and look more beautiful! e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks indulge your lips with long lasting color and shine. The moisture rich formula hydrates, conditions and softens on contact for silky smooth lips. Instantly beautiful, healthy-looking lips designed, formulated and tested by e.l.f. professional team of makeup artists.

The packaging is very simple nothing fancy about it. I find it very cheap and feel like it will break very easily. You can see the shade of lipstick from outsite. The texture of these lipsticks unbelievable creamy. All of them glide on lips like a dream. I love how pigmented these lipsticks are, just need one swipe for perfect color. It also does not set on my fine lines and looks good even on dry lips. The staying power is upto 4 to 5 hrs on lips and leaves a lip tint. Due to super creamy texture, it transferres to my teeth so I blot my lips with tissue paper and doing this gives good color on lips.

Flirtatious is a beautiful bubblegum pink. This shade you can wear daily but it would be more perfect for spring. It is a blue-toned pink, so it will be flattering on most skin tones. I look forward to getting a lot of use out of this one.

Sociable is a medium pink with red undertone to it. It is pretty color with high pigmentation. I prefer applying lip liner underneath just to keep it in place. This is bright color so I like to use light shades eyeshadows.

Seductive is beautiful medium reddish colour. It is not a dramatic colour but not subtle either.

Classy is light pinky color that has a slight mauve undertone to it. In the tube, it actually looks like a muted pinky color. It is little thicker in texture compare to rest of three. This one is my new favourite shade.

Overall quality of these lipsticks amazing. For the price of them they are unbelievably moisturising, creamy, soft and highly pigmented. The only thing I did not like is cheap packaging of them. Rest all is good. So what do you think about e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Lipsticks? Have you tried any shade from this range? What is your favourite shade? Do let me know in comment section below.

You can buy e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks from UK website here. If you are staying in India you can buy them from iherb.

e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick Review

Today I am reviewing e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick(£3.00). When I saw them online I thought to grab all the shades but few were not available. There are total 7 beautiful shades available to try and I got 4 of them for me. The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick is a tinted lip color that glides on like a lipstick but looks like a gloss. With nourishing Jojoba, Soybean and Vitamin E key ingredients, it conditions and moisturizes the lips.

The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick comes in a white matte chubby pencil like packaging. It twists up/down so you do not have to use pencil sharpener. It has clear cap so you can easily find the shade you are after. The end of pencil is coloured in a similar shade as the gloss. It has sweet peppermint fragrance that fades away after application. It does not cause any tingling sensation on my lips. This lip gloss sticks glide smoothly on lips and gives shiny finish. All four are nicely pigmented and also buildable. Apply one layer to achieve a light wash of color, or apply more to get a richer, intense color payoff.

These lip glosses are so moisturising that no need to put anything on underneath. Just apply it and go, that’s it. I only got one cremy shade rest three have glitter flakes in them, that are noticeable when applied. They do not feel sticky on lips as they are not lip glosses which makes them even better. The color pay off is really good. They last average 4-5 hours on my lips even after drinking then have to re-apply.

Flirty & Girly is vivid fuchsia shade with heavy shimmers in it. It has frosty finish. I really like this bright colour with shimmers. It is showstopper shade for me. The shimmers are pretty prominent, and although they do feel textured on the lips, they do not feel uncomfortable on by any means. This is a great shade for a night out.

Pink Umbrella is a true pink with a cool undertone. This is one of my favorites! It gives a natural looking pop of soft pink to the lips. This shade goes with any look. It also has some silver glitters in it.

Tiki Torches is a coral shade with gold glitters in it. It is perfect warm shade for summer. This one I use as eyeshadow too, and it looks beautiful.

Movie Star is a berry red with cream finish. It is not loud colour. It gives sheer red lips.

Overall, they are very affordable Lip Gloss Sticks. The lasting power is good. You can pick few shades if you are looking for a moisturizing gloss that feels comfortable on the lips and packs a punch in the pigment department. If you like sheer colour then I would recommend e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms as they hydrate the lips and give beautiful looking tinted lips.

You can buy e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick from UK website here. If you are staying in India you can buy them from iherb.

e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms

Today I am reviewing three e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms(£4.50, Rs437.83) which I got last year while I was in UK. Last year I did huge e.l.f. haul but have not got chace to review them on blog. So finally today I am starting with Conditioning Lip Balms. When I opened my package from e.l.f., I was totally surprised how big these lip balms were. You get a lot of product in these containers! You get about 0.26 oz./7.5g. I got three shades Peaceful Pink, Blissful Berry and Mellow Melon. With the e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm, your lips get treated to a sheer splash of color that’s super smooth, velvety soft and non-sticky. Not only are these sheer, natural shades beautiful, they’re also beneficial, with natural ingredients that condition dry, chapped lips including Vitamins A & E. It also has SPF 15 to protect delicate lips against harmful sun damage.

e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm comes in a large glass like plastic pot. I find packaging attractive and very strong. But for application on lips one has to dip fingers to get the product out which is unhygienic and it makes it a little less travel friendly. I apply it with my index finger for even application and opaqueness. Sometimes I use lip brush too. These balms are about twice the size of a traditional lip balm size. These have a small plastic covering over the rim of the lid after opening the main topper. I think it is included so the product would remain fresh.

It has creamy, thicker and moisturising consistency. It feels lightweight on lips though. It has mix of vanilla and coconuty scent which is not overpowering. For a tinted lip conditioner I would say this is quite pigmented and it leaves behind a nice pop of color. The formula wears well on my lips and feels hydrating and quite smooth. It adds nice shine to the lips too. All the three lip balms last about 2-4 hours depending on drinking and eating.

Peaceful Pink is a creamy bubble gum warm pink. It does not have any shimmer, pearl or frost. I really did not expect this product to have much pigment for a tinted lip conditioner. With one swipe, it gives a really natural pink flush to the lips. It is build-able for a pinker look. Peaceful Pink would look good on any skin tone.

Blissful Berry is warm rosy berry shade. It is sheer shade but gives very good colour pay off. If you want darker shade jusy keep layering it. Blissful Berry compliments my lips really well.

Mellow Melon is slightly more on coral shade. It is warm and instantly gives my lips life and a healthy appearance when I put it on.

Overall they are quality budget friendly tinted lip balms, so moisturisng and nourishing. It also has SPF15 to protect our lips from harmful UV rays. I have more reviews coming up on e.l.f. products so keep watching this space. You can buy e.l.f. products directly from their website. If you are staying in India you can buy e.l.f. cosmetics from Amazon, iherb.

W7 Cosmetics Lip Paint The Art Of Gloss in Girlie Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review one more W7 Cosmetics Product – Lip Paint The Art Of Gloss in Girlie. W7 is one of budget friendly brands and they create budget friendly products similar to that of higher-end products. W7 Lip paint range has 5 gorgeous shades. Yesterday I have reviewed W7 Nail Polishes, in case if you have missed out that post please check it out, here.

The 12ml lip paints are available in squeeze tubes with a black screw lid. The packaging is in the same colour as the product. This lip paint smells minty and it has a creamy texture. The packaging of the lip paint is super cool and easy to use. The screw lid shuts tightly and can be carried in a hand bag without any concerns of leakage.

Girlie Lip Paint is a lip colour that has the longevity of a lipstick, with the ease of application of a gloss. This lip paint is well moisturised, increased wearability and ensures that colour stays intact and I think it also contains peppermint/menthol oil or leaf  as that offers a cooling refreshing effect upon application.

This lip paint is the super intense colour, I am loving this fuchsia colour, the pigmentation is amazing and the colour pay off is top-notch and not sticky at all. This lip paint is a hybrid between a creamy lipstick and a lip gloss. The wear is comparable to any good creamy lipstick, and I found it lasts a good 5-6 hours without the need for a touch up. Even after fading, the lip paint leaves subtle stain on the lips, therefore a lip balm or primer is an essential, either wise a lipstick remover will be required.

W7 lip paint in Girlie is a fine addition to my lip collection and I am sure I am going to get the rest of the colours too. The formula provides a high shine, creamy feel, high pigmentation, and long-lasting.

Hope you enjoyed this post and would love to know your thoughts on this.

Thank you,
