e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick Review

Today I am reviewing e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick(£3.00). When I saw them online I thought to grab all the shades but few were not available. There are total 7 beautiful shades available to try and I got 4 of them for me. The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick is a tinted lip color that glides on like a lipstick but looks like a gloss. With nourishing Jojoba, Soybean and Vitamin E key ingredients, it conditions and moisturizes the lips.

The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick comes in a white matte chubby pencil like packaging. It twists up/down so you do not have to use pencil sharpener. It has clear cap so you can easily find the shade you are after. The end of pencil is coloured in a similar shade as the gloss. It has sweet peppermint fragrance that fades away after application. It does not cause any tingling sensation on my lips. This lip gloss sticks glide smoothly on lips and gives shiny finish. All four are nicely pigmented and also buildable. Apply one layer to achieve a light wash of color, or apply more to get a richer, intense color payoff.

These lip glosses are so moisturising that no need to put anything on underneath. Just apply it and go, that’s it. I only got one cremy shade rest three have glitter flakes in them, that are noticeable when applied. They do not feel sticky on lips as they are not lip glosses which makes them even better. The color pay off is really good. They last average 4-5 hours on my lips even after drinking then have to re-apply.

Flirty & Girly is vivid fuchsia shade with heavy shimmers in it. It has frosty finish. I really like this bright colour with shimmers. It is showstopper shade for me. The shimmers are pretty prominent, and although they do feel textured on the lips, they do not feel uncomfortable on by any means. This is a great shade for a night out.

Pink Umbrella is a true pink with a cool undertone. This is one of my favorites! It gives a natural looking pop of soft pink to the lips. This shade goes with any look. It also has some silver glitters in it.

Tiki Torches is a coral shade with gold glitters in it. It is perfect warm shade for summer. This one I use as eyeshadow too, and it looks beautiful.

Movie Star is a berry red with cream finish. It is not loud colour. It gives sheer red lips.

Overall, they are very affordable Lip Gloss Sticks. The lasting power is good. You can pick few shades if you are looking for a moisturizing gloss that feels comfortable on the lips and packs a punch in the pigment department. If you like sheer colour then I would recommend e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms as they hydrate the lips and give beautiful looking tinted lips.

Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Palette Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Palette £6.00 which I have been sent very kindly by lovely team at Makeup Revolution. In my previous posts I have reviewed Makeup Revolution Mermaids VS Unicorns which you can find here. I am so obsessed which Makeup Revolution Palettes and got over 22 palettes in my collection, I have not shared and reviewed all of them here on blog but soon I get enough time I am definitely going to review them all one by one. Makeup Revolution Mermaids VS Unicorns palette is really popular in the market after that they brought a palette that contains beautiful Unicorns shades. It contains stunning and vibrant Unicorns shades.

I am also in love with the packaging, the purple glossy cover is so beautiful and in light you can see rainbow like effect on that cover. This packaging is perfectly fits the Unicorn theme. What Makeup Revolution says about this palette: “Calling all Unicorns! Unite…and change the world with your own legendary looks! Made with the help of “Real” Unicorns in our Enchanted Magical Makeup Forest.” The actual palette is same like other Salvation Palettes. Comes in sleek black plastic casing and inside there is full size mirror on back of the lid which make it travel friendly. This palette contains 18 eye shadows, 12 of them shimmery and rest 6 are matte. All the shades in this palette given beautiful names.

This palette contains bright and bold colours. It has metallic blues, vibrant purple and neon pinks. With this palette you can create some bold and daring makeup looks. All the shades in this palette compliment each other really well. The texture is very soft and blends very well. All the shades are nicely pigmented. I love the metallic shades of this palette so much, they add dimension and depth to you makeup look. You can also create some summer festivals look with this palette.

If you like bright colours and fan of unicorn then you going to love this palette and if you have not tried it I must say you should buy it. The staying power of this shadows really good. They are not powdery at all. There is slight fall out during application. They don’t crease on my eyelids. This palette retails at only £6.00, very good bargain.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Mermaids VS Unicorns Review/Swatch

Recently I have been sent two gorgeous palettes from Makeup Revolution to review on my blog. As you may know how much I love Makeup Revolution products, it is one of my most favourite drugstore brand across all. Today I am going to review Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Mermaids VS Unicorns. First of all I love the name given to this palette and it contains such a beautiful greens, blues, plum purples shades.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Mermaids VS Unicorns comes in a sturdy plastic packaging with top lid is transparent so all the colours are clearly visible from top. It also contains double ended sponge applicator. It contains 12 shimmer and glittery eyeshadows. All the shades in this palette are highly pigmented and blends very well. The shimmery shades on the left side mix of green and aqua are the Mermaid shades while the other end of palette on right side mix of plum purples and dark blues are the Unicorn shades. I love the sparkly shimmery pink from Unicorn side but I am loving all those aqua shades so much so I am on the Mermaids side.

This palette contains beautiful bold colours. You can also combine this shades with neutral shades and add a pop of colour from this palette to the outer corner of eyes. Even this shades can be used as eyeliner and looks beautiful. Starting from the left side of palette, very first shade is light pistachio green is bit sheer colour and have to swipe 2-3 times to get the exact colour like in pan. This shade can be used as highlighter. Next shade is mix of blue/green and bit darker than first one. The 3rd shade is kind of same like 2^nd shade but more darker. The 4th one is soft blue colour, next to it is strong blue colour and one of my favourite too. It looks so beautiful on eyes. The next shade 6^th is intense blue colour and not shimmery, it is semi matte. So these all shades from Mermaid side.

Now Unicorn shades 7^th colour is beautiful purple on darker side and can be paired with next shade pink to create lovely purple pink smoky eye. 8^th shade is reddish rose-pink colour with silver glitters in it and my 2^nd favourite of this palette. The glitters in it does fall out during application. 9^th shade is gorgeous lavender colour with silver shimmers in it. It is quite sheer colour. 10^th shade is navy blue and nicely pigmented. 11^th shade is darker navy blue and have bit glitters in it. The final shade 12th is dark grey/black colour with glitters in it. With this you can create lovely bold night-time look.

I like shimmery and glitter shades so if you are like me you going to love this palette and other side if you don’t love shimmery shades then this is not the right palette for you to try. All the shades in this palette apply like a dream and blends nicely. The texture is so soft and contains great shimmers. With this palette you can create soft shimmery daytime and bold night-time look. This palette retails for only £4.00 and quality is amazing.

Makeup Revolution Lipstick Chic and Dazzle Review

Today i am going to review two shades of Makeup Revolution Lipstick, Chic(left side) and Dazzle(right side).

Makeup Revolution Lipstick Chic is stunning rose shade, which contains lots of shimmer and glitter and i love it. It is long-lasting and smells like vanilla.

Makeup Revolution Lipstick Dazzle bold pink color that mostly everybody does love.

These both shades are quite pigmented and are very soft and buttery, easily glides on your lips. These shades last quite a while, once colors wear off beautiful stain is left behind so no touch up is required.

I am going to buy more shades of Makeup Revolutions Lipstick, they are amazing.
