Helen E Cosmetics Vibrant Colour Lipsticks Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review Helen E Cosmetics Vibrant Colour Lipsticks – £10.00 which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. I have also reviewed Photo Finish Oil Free Makeup from Helen E Cosmetics and I really satisfied with the result. These lipsticks are formulated with conditioning Vitamin E and subtly flavoured with warm Vanilla. There are 10 shades to pick from this new lipstick collection ranging from perfect nudes through to rich reds. I have been sent two shades – Bliss and Tahiti. Both are gorgeous shades. The texture of these lipsticks is quite soft, smooth and balm-like. They are quite moisturizing and give a lovely, glossy look to the lips. The color pay off of these lipsticks is great – they give opaque color in a single pass and feel very comfortable on the lips.

The packaging of this lipstick is really beautiful and very sturdy. I love the scent of both the lipsticks and not overpowering at all. Bliss is a perfect mix of red and berry pink and it looks fresh and bright without being too bold or difficult to carry. Tahiti also has good pigmentation and applies smoothly on lips. It is lovely peachy shade. You can build the colour on lips by 2-3 swipes for both the shades. The finish is lovely glossy, it gives a luscious full look to the lips. The formula is very hydrating and comfortable, women prone to dry lips would love the cushion-y feel of it. My lips feel soft and smooth till hours after the color has worn off and that is one reason I love this formula! I think both the shades would suit all complexions and would show up uniquely different on different skin tones. Both shades you could wear to work, you could wear to a party or to an outing with friends it suits every occasion. They are creamy finish, pigment packed long stay formula and a fair level of hydration.

So what do you think about Helen E Cosmetics Vibrant Colour Lipsticks? Out of two which shade you liked most? Have you tried any lip products from Helen E Cosmetics? You can buy Helen E Cosmetics Vibrant Colour Lipsticks from their website here.

Helen E Cosmetics Photo Finish New Oil Free Formula Makeup Review

I have not been much active on my blog since last week as I was not feeling good, after my recent trip to Highlands I got bit sick but now I am good and finally posting something. Today I am going to review Helen E Cosmetics Photo Finish New Oil Free Formula Make up – £15.00 which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. I have not tried Helen E Cosmetics product earlier so when I got chance to try some of their products I was really excited. I love to try and explore new brands. Helen E Cosmetics is a privately owned UK limited company founded by Helen Elowe in 1999 and manufacture high quality colour cosmetics which are supplied to retailers, spas, salons and independents worldwide. Helen E specialise in providing Make-up Artists for Red Carpet and VIP Celebrity events such as the Miss England Competition, Miss World London 2011, The Asian Awards, Fashion Shows and Goodwood Racing, where their products have been used on both celebrities and models. A favourite with Make-up Artists, the range has been used on TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing.

Helen E Cosmetics Photo Finish New Oil Free Formula Make up comes in a silver compact packaging with sponge applicator. Packaging is simple, lightweight and sturdy. It also comes with mirror inside so you can do touch up whenever required while on travelling. It is perfect for the handbag with the sponge applicator inside the compact. I have also used a foundation brush to apply it and it spreads and applies evenly. The sponge provided with this make up is so perfect and soft for touch up.

This revolutionary skin smoother now comes in an oil free version! Oil free formula with extract of cucumber. Achieve an even natural photo finish easily in seconds with new cream to liquid formulation. Perfect if you have a more oily skin type, or if you will be in a warm climate. For the new Photo Finish Make up you don’t have to choose the shade as it comes in one colour that suits most skin tones if you are very fair, olive, very tanned and light Asian. This new oil free formula helps to even out the complexion. It is lightweight and lasts all day long. It also contains plant extracts to hydrate and balance the skin. I have dry combination skin and this oil free formula works great for my skin type. No patchy in dry areas.

This oil free makeup would be great for all year round and I have been wearing it quite often now. This perfectly matched to skin tone makeup gives nice coverage and does not look fake or cakey on face, not heavy like other foundation and it leaves matte finish on skin. A light layer on the skin is all you need for an even complexion. It provides medium coverage which can be built up to give medium-to-full coverage, without looking cakey. It gives a healthy flawy finish and blends well into the skin, and is best applied with the sponge that comes in the pack. With 8 hours of flawless, oil-free wear, all you see is your skin – at its best. The product doesn’t clog pores or feel heavy on the skin. Overall I am really satisfied by this product.

MyChelle Supreme Polypeptide Age Defense Cream Review

Today I am going to review MyChelle Supreme Polypeptide Cream – £36.00 which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. This is my very first product from MyChelle I have tried. I have read positive feedbacks about many of MyChelle skincare products on beauty blogs. This cream is recommended for Dry skin and Anti-aging concerns. It has some rich ingredients like coconut oil, olive, mango seed, and black currant seed that fight signs of aging by increasing cell turnover while leaving it smooth and hydrated. It also has Matrixl synthe’6, which helps to reduce wrinkle volume by 21% and wrinkle depth by 19% in 8 weeks. Proteasyl® TP Pea Peptide is clinically proven to improve skin’s elasticity, increasing overall firmness by 35% in just 6 weeks. Rice Peptides improve skin smoothness while Syn®-Coll Peptide triggers skin’s own reparative function to accelerate collagen production. It is vegetarian friendly and gluten-free cream.

The texture of this cream is very rich, it is creamy moisturizer that feels very nice on the skin. When I saw this cream in jar for very first time I thought it would be too heavy for my skin but actually it is very light and sinks into the skin very quickly. It is rich cream but does not feel greasy or sticky on skin. I love the scent of this cream so much. Each time I apply on my face it really feels good. I have used this cream for almost 4 weeks I think, in the morning and at night. I don’t have wrinkles yet so I can not comment on if it really helps to reduce wrinkles but after using it for almost 4 weeks I can say it is really good rich cream for my dry sensitive skin. It makes my skin more smooth and bit tighter, nourished. After using it at night, I wake up with softest healthy skin each morning. This cream is so moisturising. Perfect for my dry skin. If you have oily skin I think it would be heavy during day time but you may use it during the night-time.

Overall it is a good cream for those with dry skin. I have read some positive comments on this cream regarding it reduces the appearance of wrinkles so if you are looking for some age defense creams to try, worth to check out MyChelle Supreme Polypeptide Cream. What do you think about this age-defense cream? Have you tried MyChelle skincare products? Do you have MyChelle favourite product? Do let me know your thoughts in comments please.

Vichy Ideal Soleil High Protection Dry Oil SPF 20 and SPF 50(UVA+UVB) Review

Today I am going to review Vichy Ideal Soleil High Protection Dry Oil SPF 20 and SPF 50(UVA+UVB). This Dry Oil can be used on face and all over body to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. In my previous post I have reviewed Vichy Ideal Soleil Tinted BB Cream and Velvety Face Cream. Many people avoid using sun creams as they think they can’t get a tan, they are too sticky or they just don’t like the smell. Honestly there are so many products out there now, and so much new technology in skincare that all of these sun cream fears can be avoided and you can easily find SPF that is clear, dries quickly and even helps you tan faster! Both oils ideal for people with sensitive, normal to combination skin. It is water-resistant so great for people who love to be in the water or play beach sports.

If you hate using sun creams that leave you with white sheen dont worry this dry oil is perfect for you. It does not leave any white marks. It’s hypoallergenic and paraben free for those that want to avoid parabens entirely. Expert protection from UVA and UVB rays with a luxurious dry-touch, and moisturising satin-finish oil texture and light fresh floral fragrance. Includes a Mexoryl®XL -based UVA and UVB filtering system, photostable and broad spectrum protection. Helps to protect against the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays.Tested under dermatological control, suitable for sensitive skin.

Both the suncare dry oil offers high protection for skin that tans easily. If you have pale skin or are prone to burning then you would need to choose suncare products with high protection. Vichy Ideal Soleil Suncare Oil have two variants SPF 20 and SPF 50. I have a medium skin tone which tans very easily but rarely burns. I tested this product on my body and neck during a few outdoor runs. Initially I thought wearing a body oil would be uncomfortable, but I found its general texture no worse than that of a many regular sun cream or lotion sunscreen even when things got sweaty. This suncare oil is enriched with Vichy Thermal Spa Water. It is clear, transparent Dry Oil spray spritzes directly onto the body with a nice even, thin spray and it doesn’t need much rubbing in. It feels really smooth and silky on the skin but not at all greasy, and it dries really quickly leaving little trace of the product on the skin. It certainly makes your skin look satiny and luscious, and that sheen will enhance any tan you do have.

You could also take that sheen up a notch by mixing in some shimmery bronzer or pigment into the oil either directly in the bottle or in your hand right before you apply it. It has a nice, gentle floral scent that isn’t too overpowering. I have used this sun protection product for a week or so now and have had no problems, it has done a great job of protecting my skin and I have had no sunburn at all. if you don’t like oily or greasy sun creams, or have particularly oily skin, then I think this could work well for you. Both the suncare oil perfect for women and men of all ages who want to protect their skin from UVA and UVB rays. It is water-resistant.

So what do you think about Vichy Ideal Soleil High Protection Dry Oil SPF 20 and SPF 50(UVA+UVB)? Do you prefer Sun Lotion or Sun Oil? Have you tried any Sun Protection Products from Vichy Ideal Soleil range? Do let me know your thoughts in comments below. You can buy Vichy Ideal Soleil High Protection Dry Oil SPF 20 and SPF 50(UVA+UVB) from Boots, lookfantastic.com and feelunique.com.

Natura Siberica Rhodiola Rosea Day Cream with SPF 20 Review

This month I have concentrated on suncare products on my blog. As you may have seen I have featured and reviewed various sun protection products for hair, body and face on my blog. Today I am going to review Natura Siberica Rhodiola Rosea Day Cream with SPF 20 – £ 7.29 which protects the skin from dehydration due to harmful UV rays from the sun. I recently discovered this brand made in Russia and born in Siberia. Natura Siberica is not just natural cosmetics and not just cosmetics made from herbs. This is Russia’s first organic cosmetic line and it really works. Highly active wild grasses from Siberia and the Far East. Modern formulas with the highest quality content of plant components. At least 95% of ingredients are vegetable origin. Certified organic extracts and oils. Free of petrochemicals, silicones, parabens, and artificial dyes. Natura Siberica has won a number of international awards which you can find here.

It comes in a 50ml pump bottle and it is white in colour and has creamy texture. With pump dispenser you can always control the amount of product that comes out. It has pleasant smell and hard to describe but it is not overpowering at all. Natura Siberica Moisturizing Day Cream on the basis of Rhodiola Rosea – the most valuable medicinal plant of Siberian – allows you to securely protect sensitive skin from climatic influence, to ensure the comfort and softness all day long. Included in the natural components intensively moisturize, strengthen and make supple, prevent wrinkles. Gentle Day Cream contains allantoin, which provides deep hydration, and vitamin P, which strengthens the skin. Hyaluronic acid prevents the appearance of wrinkles. This cream gets absorbed into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft to touch. It is very moisturising and hydrating cream. It does not make my skin shiny or greasy.

I just need one pump of this cream to apply on my face and less than half pump I apply on my neck area. I have used this cream for more than two weeks and couple of times I was out in half sunny day and did not burn my skin. But if you are spending your whole day somewhere in hot, on beach and doing a lot of sun bath then I suggest to use higher SPF products. You can also layer up this cream with other high SPF products for double precaution. It also has not caused any break outs so that’s good thing. I always like when moisturisers have built-in SPF and you can use them all year around without any worry. This product is full of natural ingredients and free from all the harsh, nasty ingredients.

Overall it is good natural day cream with built in SPF, sinks in quickly and nourish the skin. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin. This cream is quite handy and you can easily carry it in your handbag while you are travelling.

You can buy Natura Siberica Rhodiola Rosea Day Cream from here.
