e.l.f Studio Blush Palette in Light and Dark Review

I love blushes, I am blush obsessed, specially the blushes comes in palette. Today I am reviewing e.l.f Studio Blush Palette in Light and Dark(£7.50) which I got last year while shopping online in UK. I have also reviewed e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms in my previous posts which you can find here. e.l.f. products are always fun to shop for. This raved about brand is always affordable and carries good quality products.

I really like the packaging of these palettes, pretty simple! The square shaped palettes are sleek black with a full size mirror inside which makes it very travel friendly. You can also take one of the blushes out of the palette. That way you can create your own palette with your favourite blushes and don’t have to carry too many palettes with you if you are going out on vacation.

Each palette has four shades, two of them have matte finish and other two have subtle shimmer. Each palette has a mix of warm and cool tones, so practically any undertone can find at least two shades to fit their style. The formula of these blushes is softer, super pigmented and easily blendable. You have to use a light hand while application as these blushes are very pigmented. I prefer stippling brush to apply.

The blush palette in Light contains cool pink, neutral tan, warm pink and warm coral. The coral shade contains some fine gold glitters. One shade has light shimmer which does not show up. This palette would be nice for those with medium to fair skin tones. If you have very deep skin tone then build intensity of the shade you like.

The blush palette in Dark contains a warm dusty mauve, deep neutral berry, warm rusty brick red and neutral brick red. The warm rusty brick red contains some gold glitters in it. One shade has light shimmer which does not show up. This palette would work for all skin tones. If you have fair skin then you will need to use a very light hand.

These blushes are not powdery or dusty at all which I really like about these both palettes. The lasting power of this blushes is amazing. I can usually get about 6-7 hours of wear from the shades in both palettes when I am wearing a full face of makeup. Both the palette are great for everyday use and easy to carry when you are travelling.

So what do you think about these e.l.f. blush palettes? Have you tried any of these palettes yet? Let me know your thoughts in comment section below. You can buy e.l.f. products from their website here if you are staying in UK. If you are staying in India you can buy e.l.f. products from iherb.

Thank you,

SilkyResh
