Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara Review

Today I am going to review Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara. Beautiful Kim(www.kimmylashes.com) has sent me Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara to try and review on my blog. I have not tried any Younique products earlier, The 3D mascara was the first Younique product I have ever tried and I am loving it. I have been using this mascara since 2 weeks I think and I got many compliments from my friends that How big and beautiful my eyelashes are. Thank you so much Kim for sending over and introducing me this lovely product. Kim gave me a few simple tips and tricks on how to use it and she also has sent me her YouTube video and that was really helpful and I have linked it below.

A little bit introduction about Younique’s Cosmetics….Younique’s cosmetics development processes utilize scientific research to ensure that their products contain high quality ingredients that enrich and nourish the skin. The result is a beautifully efficacious product that is safely compatible with virtually every skin type. Younique begins by looking to Mother Nature for the inspiration behind their cosmetics. Their in-house scientific team then formulates a product that honors that inspiration while delivering cutting-edge cosmetics. Their goal is to provide healthy, clean, and pure cosmetics.

Product Details : Simple three-step process combines Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your existing lashes. The 3D Fiber Lashes are water-resistant but easily wash off with warm water and facial cleanser at the end of the day.

Direction : To prepare your eyelashes for optimal results, first apply one thin coat of your own regular favorite mascara and let it dry. Then, apply Moodstruck Transplanting Gel to your lashes. Immediately following, and while the gel is still wet, apply the Moodstruck Natural Fibers. Reapply the Transplanting Gel a second time to secure the natural fibers onto your lashes.

I love the packaging of this 3D Mascara kit. Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes come in a sleek black quilt affect flip top case almost like an eye glasses case, one side open to reveal the products inside which are packaged in two separate bottles, the Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers are used together to enhance and magnify your OWN lashes.

Full, long, thick lashes are always in style and dream of every girl, but applying false lashes daily is not always practical and I find it very time-consuming. This 3D mascara kit is a bit difficult to get the hang of, but once you do, you can put it on really quickly and be out the door in minutes. Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash Mascara is everything, it is cracked up to be, and a bit more. This is mascara and not a false lashes. Not only is it hypoallergenic and free of chemicals, oil and parabens but it is gentle on sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. The mascara is made from natural green tea fibers and comes right off at the end of the day with warm soapy water, wipes and cleanser.

I have used this mascara many times and I have pretty much become an expert by this point in time! You can wear this by itself, or you can wear it over a coat of your normal mascara. First you apply a coat or two of the gel. Then you immediately apply the fibers. Then one more coat of the gel to seal the fibers on. Just work on one eye at a time. Finish the one eye then go to the next. You can layer it on to keep making your lashes bigger and bigger.

These are easy to apply. I did it better the 3rd time than the first, so it may take a bit of getting used to. Some of the fibers do fall onto your cheek so you can just brush them away with a clean make-up brush. In photos I have used this mascaras with 1 coat! I got pretty impressive big lashes with just 1 coat and if you want really crazy big and full lashes you can layer it on and on. Ones I started using this mascaras I was bit worried about fibers as I wear contact lenses daily. Thankfully the fibers have not irritated my eyes.

I am in love with this 3D mascaras! This is now my go to Mascara and I really can not imagine not using it. I think that this would be a really smart buy for anyone who craves really dramatic lashes but either can not wear false lashes, or do not have the time to apply falsies in their daily routine.

Weleda Skin Food and Aknedoron Purifying Lotion Review

Today I am going to review 2 more Weleda Products those I have been sent to try and review on my blog. The Weleda products I was sent are Skin Food and Aknedoron Purifying Lotion. I have also reviewed Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner which you can find here. I have been using both of these products since 3 weeks and I have noticed the major difference for my combination skin. During Fall/Winter besides it being cold, my skin gets pretty dry. My knees, elbows and cheeks are pretty much dry during winters and I see dry patches over those areas. It feels like I could exfoliate my whole body with those areas. Now all worries are gone as Skin Food works so well with all this dry patchy problems.

Weleda Skin Food 30ml (£6.95)

Weleda Skin Food is a deep-penetrating replenishing skin repair cream for dry patches of skin and for added protection. Ideal for skin that is dry, flaky and in need of extra care. Made with organic sunflower seed oil, and extracts of wild pansy, chamomile, calendula and revitalising rosemary extract to perk up tired skin, it is a great rescue remedy for lack-lustre or generally undernourished complexions. Skin Food is delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandulae and is the natural choice for everyday care of the face and body. It can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly out-of-doors.

Skin Food cream comes in a green apothecary type tin package which makes it super light and easy to travel with. The texture is thick and slightly sticky, but a little goes a long way and it leaves skin nicely hydrated and dewy. If you are used to very light body lotions then this may take you by surprise, but it is a winter skin saviour for anyone who suffers from very dry or rough skin. This product has the most amazing scent from a very unique essential oil blend, It is fresh but with an herbal warmth that is comforting.

I am using Weleda’s Skin Food regularly since last 3 weeks and I find that it really does the trick in keeping my skin moisturized whilst it benefits from the wonderful essential oils and minerals used to make this product. When I am using it on my face, I apply a pea sized amount onto my fingers and rub my hands together, which warms the cream up and makes it easier to apply. Because of the thickness of the cream, I like to apply it at night and my skin soaks it well and by the time I wake up in the morning, my face is soft and smooth. I don’t see any dry patches on my cheeks. I have been using Skin Food for 3 weeks on my elbows and knees and have noticed a tremendous difference in the way that they look and feel. I don’t have any negative points for this Skin Food cream. I am really really happy with this product and going to buy the bigger size tube.

Weleda Aknedoron Purifying Lotion 50ml (£9.95)

Weleda Aknedoron Purifying Lotion is an intensive spot treatment lotion which works as part of the Aknedoron two-step system for problem skin, the first part being the Aknedoron cleanser. This special combination calms irritation and stimulates skin, restoring blood flow to regulate problem skin whilst restoring its natural beauty. The re-balancing action of the herbal extracts effectively cares for problem skin on both face and body and is most effective when applied at night, to soothe problem areas and blemishes. To care for problem skin on face and body, first thoroughly cleanse the affected areas, then apply Aknedoron Purifying Lotion with cotton wool or tissues. This lotion comes in a green glass bottle with a white plastic screw cap, which was sealed. The color of the lotion is white with yellow notes, and the texture is more of a cream-liquid. It smells very nice chamomile, witch hazel and marigold.

Aknedoron Purifying Lotion helps the skin to rebalance thanks to the essential oils of sage, thyme and lavender, soothing calendula and chamomile, witch hazel and sulfur, which helps irritated and blemished skin to find its balance. I generally don’t get pimples but after bath I see my face skin gets bit red and I can see some red patches. It goes away after 15 minutes so I am not worried. I had 2-3 red spots on my face and after using this purifying lotion they are like almost gone. I also asked my husband to try this lotion as in last month he got few pimples on his face and they left spots on his skin. He also tried for 2-3 weeks and those spots are very very light now. So yes this is working.

Some effective overnight blemish treatments can be quite drying, but this Purifying Lotion is the complete opposite and is rather very calming. Whilst you can feel the lotion dry on your skin, it does not feel tight or leave your skin stripped or dry in the slightest. I found that using this every night really calmed my skin and redness and help to prevent future breakouts, the soothing lotion is a dream to apply and it instantly soothes the redness. One to put on your wish list if your skin is being problematic.

Overall I am so happy with both the products. Skin Food is now one of my favourite product. You can buy Weleda Products from Boots too. Do you love Weleda products? Are you tempted to try them? Have you tried these products before?

Makeup Revolution Nail Polishes Review/Swatch

Today I have one more review to share with you beauties. Since last 2 weeks I have mostly posted all about Nail Polish and today also I have few nail polishes to share with you guys. I am going to review Makeup Revolution Nail Polishes, I got them in november last year but never got chance to review them on my blog. So finally today the post is live. As you know I am really big fan of Makeup Revolution brand and I love all their products and recently I did Makeup Revolution haul that I will share with you guys soon.

I have used this Makeup Revolution nail polishes so many times and I am loving them, colours are really beautiful. They have huge collection and lots of beautiful shades to select from. I got 6 shades – Find True Love, Look Of Love, Gravity Pulls you thru, Heaven’s above, Be Luck In Love and Who Got The Look. Names given to them are really interesting.

Lets talk about the packaging and application first. The bottles are simple and have curved edges which make them very easy to hold. The size of the brush is good too and one dip covers my entire nail. Lid of the bottles are not so strong while opening bottles, two lids got big kracks on them. But they are only £1 each, so I really can not complain about it and would ignore it.

The formula of the polishes is quite thick. With one coat you don’t get nice colour so you have to apply 2 coats to get the good pigmentation. These nail polishes dry quickly and gives nice glossy and shiny effects to your nails. I have used 2 coats for my swatch photos and I got very good coverage with 2 coats. These nail polishes last for 2-3 days with top coat. In my swatch photos I have not used top coat and you can see it has lovely bright and glossy effect.

Overall I am happy with Makeup Revolution Nail Polishes and I am thinking to explore and try more shades from their nail polish collection. Have you tried any nail polishes from Makeup Revolution? What do you think about them? How do you like them? I would love to know your thoughts.

You can buy Makeup Revolution Nail Polishes from their website and from Superdrug Stores.

W7 Cosmetics Lip Paint The Art Of Gloss in Girlie Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review one more W7 Cosmetics Product – Lip Paint The Art Of Gloss in Girlie. W7 is one of budget friendly brands and they create budget friendly products similar to that of higher-end products. W7 Lip paint range has 5 gorgeous shades. Yesterday I have reviewed W7 Nail Polishes, in case if you have missed out that post please check it out, here.

The 12ml lip paints are available in squeeze tubes with a black screw lid. The packaging is in the same colour as the product. This lip paint smells minty and it has a creamy texture. The packaging of the lip paint is super cool and easy to use. The screw lid shuts tightly and can be carried in a hand bag without any concerns of leakage.

Girlie Lip Paint is a lip colour that has the longevity of a lipstick, with the ease of application of a gloss. This lip paint is well moisturised, increased wearability and ensures that colour stays intact and I think it also contains peppermint/menthol oil or leaf  as that offers a cooling refreshing effect upon application.

This lip paint is the super intense colour, I am loving this fuchsia colour, the pigmentation is amazing and the colour pay off is top-notch and not sticky at all. This lip paint is a hybrid between a creamy lipstick and a lip gloss. The wear is comparable to any good creamy lipstick, and I found it lasts a good 5-6 hours without the need for a touch up. Even after fading, the lip paint leaves subtle stain on the lips, therefore a lip balm or primer is an essential, either wise a lipstick remover will be required.

W7 lip paint in Girlie is a fine addition to my lip collection and I am sure I am going to get the rest of the colours too. The formula provides a high shine, creamy feel, high pigmentation, and long-lasting.

Hope you enjoyed this post and would love to know your thoughts on this.

Thank you,

W7 Cosmetics Nail Polishes Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review some W7 Cosmetics, I was sent two W7 Nail Polishes, one Lip Paint and one eyeshadow palette. I would not be able to review W7 eyeshadow palette because when my parcel arrived I opened it and Oh No one pan of eyeshadow was badly damaged and eyeshadow was all over the parcel and products. Lovely PR team again going to send me once they have in stock. In this post I will review 2 nail polishes – 181 Tiffany and 138 Bare. I will review Lip Paint next post.

W7 Nail Polish range have a huge range of colours and finishes- from nude to neon, sheer to sparkly, matte to glitter. W7 nail polishes come in a simple, dome-shaped bottle which is medium in size with brand name W7 embossed with black letters. The lid is black with a white sticker showing shade’s number and name. Ingredient list is printed on the bottle. It takes three coats to get nice colour. I adore these bottles and will be happy to purchase them in different colours to experiment with. The brush in these is perfect as it allows you to get the perfect amount of polish and easily paint your nails. It is quite sturdy so you can carry while travelling.

I loved the Tiffany color than Bare. Tiffany is sheer and the first coat was very streaky. You need multiple coats to get nice color on your nails. Bare can be used as base and you can use many dark colours on it to do nail art. Both the polishes were pretty much opaque at 3 coats. It’s one of those polishes that always shows a hint of the free edge through the finish, but it’s honestly not noticeable unless someone is scrutinising your nails up close. The polishes dried fairly quickly. The finish is a beautiful glossy paint; no need for topcoat!

Tiffany is perfect subtle colour for spring and I will use it more in spring and I will do some nice nail art with it. Both colours last long, that’s wonderful! I am going to try few more colours from W7 Nail Polish range soon.

Hope you enjoyed this post and You can buy W7 Cosmetics from here.
