The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel and Cream Review

I know I have been trying and reviewing many of The Body Shop Shower Gels and today I have one more review on TBS Shower Gel – Satsuma Shower Gel and Cream(Rs. 425). This is my 3rd favourite of TBS shower gel. If you love fresh and fruity fragrance will fall in love with this shower gel. Create a zesty, invigorating shower experience! This refreshing, cleansing gel uses Satsuma peel essential oil to provide a natural citrus fragrance. The Satsuma Shower Gel is enriched with Community Fair Trade Organic Soya Oil from Brazil to repair the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore smoothness and suppleness. The soap-free, lather-rich formula is less drying to the skin than soap.

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip open cap. The consistency of this shower gel is neither too thick nor too runny. It just perfect! I love the dark orange colour of this shower gel, it looks attractive on my bathroom shelf. It smells so so good! It is a sweet orange scent that does not get weird, is not too fruity or pungent, and is a nice pick-me-up in the morning. You just need small amout of product on body puff as it lathers up really well. It does not make the shower slippery. The smell lingers on me for 1-2 hours and makes me feel refreshed and rejuvenated. After shower my bathroom smells of oranges for entire day. This shower gel does not dry my skin. My skin feels so clean and healthy for entire day after taking shower with it.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a shower gel that not only smells great, but actually keeps you feeling lovely, refreshing and clean throughout the day! Satsuma is my absolute favorite scent from the Body Shop! I love the way it wakes me up in the shower. I see myself repurchasing this again and again. I am obsessed!

You can buy The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel and Cream from TBS website here.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Lipsticks Review

Today I am reviewing few more e.l.f. cosmetics lip products. In my e.l.f. haul I mainly got lip products and blushes. In my previous posts I have reviewed e.l.f. Lip Balms, Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks and Blush Palettes. Today I am talking about e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks(£2.00). e.l.f. Essential Lipstick range have total 8 beautiful shades and I got 4 of them to try. Who does not love Lipsticks? Lipstick is one of my favourite things. I have way too many lipticks in my collection and I keep buying them as I love to try new different brands and shades. Lipstick is essential to a complete makeup look. I wear lipstick almost everyday even if I am at home, if not lipstick then the tinted lip balm. I love some colour on my lips as it helps me feel and look put together. It makes you feel and look more beautiful! e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks indulge your lips with long lasting color and shine. The moisture rich formula hydrates, conditions and softens on contact for silky smooth lips. Instantly beautiful, healthy-looking lips designed, formulated and tested by e.l.f. professional team of makeup artists.

The packaging is very simple nothing fancy about it. I find it very cheap and feel like it will break very easily. You can see the shade of lipstick from outsite. The texture of these lipsticks unbelievable creamy. All of them glide on lips like a dream. I love how pigmented these lipsticks are, just need one swipe for perfect color. It also does not set on my fine lines and looks good even on dry lips. The staying power is upto 4 to 5 hrs on lips and leaves a lip tint. Due to super creamy texture, it transferres to my teeth so I blot my lips with tissue paper and doing this gives good color on lips.

Flirtatious is a beautiful bubblegum pink. This shade you can wear daily but it would be more perfect for spring. It is a blue-toned pink, so it will be flattering on most skin tones. I look forward to getting a lot of use out of this one.

Sociable is a medium pink with red undertone to it. It is pretty color with high pigmentation. I prefer applying lip liner underneath just to keep it in place. This is bright color so I like to use light shades eyeshadows.

Seductive is beautiful medium reddish colour. It is not a dramatic colour but not subtle either.

Classy is light pinky color that has a slight mauve undertone to it. In the tube, it actually looks like a muted pinky color. It is little thicker in texture compare to rest of three. This one is my new favourite shade.

Overall quality of these lipsticks amazing. For the price of them they are unbelievably moisturising, creamy, soft and highly pigmented. The only thing I did not like is cheap packaging of them. Rest all is good. So what do you think about e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Lipsticks? Have you tried any shade from this range? What is your favourite shade? Do let me know in comment section below.

You can buy e.l.f. Essential Lipsticks from UK website here. If you are staying in India you can buy them from iherb.

e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick Review

Today I am reviewing e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick(£3.00). When I saw them online I thought to grab all the shades but few were not available. There are total 7 beautiful shades available to try and I got 4 of them for me. The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick is a tinted lip color that glides on like a lipstick but looks like a gloss. With nourishing Jojoba, Soybean and Vitamin E key ingredients, it conditions and moisturizes the lips.

The Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick comes in a white matte chubby pencil like packaging. It twists up/down so you do not have to use pencil sharpener. It has clear cap so you can easily find the shade you are after. The end of pencil is coloured in a similar shade as the gloss. It has sweet peppermint fragrance that fades away after application. It does not cause any tingling sensation on my lips. This lip gloss sticks glide smoothly on lips and gives shiny finish. All four are nicely pigmented and also buildable. Apply one layer to achieve a light wash of color, or apply more to get a richer, intense color payoff.

These lip glosses are so moisturising that no need to put anything on underneath. Just apply it and go, that’s it. I only got one cremy shade rest three have glitter flakes in them, that are noticeable when applied. They do not feel sticky on lips as they are not lip glosses which makes them even better. The color pay off is really good. They last average 4-5 hours on my lips even after drinking then have to re-apply.

Flirty & Girly is vivid fuchsia shade with heavy shimmers in it. It has frosty finish. I really like this bright colour with shimmers. It is showstopper shade for me. The shimmers are pretty prominent, and although they do feel textured on the lips, they do not feel uncomfortable on by any means. This is a great shade for a night out.

Pink Umbrella is a true pink with a cool undertone. This is one of my favorites! It gives a natural looking pop of soft pink to the lips. This shade goes with any look. It also has some silver glitters in it.

Tiki Torches is a coral shade with gold glitters in it. It is perfect warm shade for summer. This one I use as eyeshadow too, and it looks beautiful.

Movie Star is a berry red with cream finish. It is not loud colour. It gives sheer red lips.

Overall, they are very affordable Lip Gloss Sticks. The lasting power is good. You can pick few shades if you are looking for a moisturizing gloss that feels comfortable on the lips and packs a punch in the pigment department. If you like sheer colour then I would recommend e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms as they hydrate the lips and give beautiful looking tinted lips.

You can buy e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick from UK website here. If you are staying in India you can buy them from iherb.

e.l.f Studio Blush Palette in Light and Dark Review

I love blushes, I am blush obsessed, specially the blushes comes in palette. Today I am reviewing e.l.f Studio Blush Palette in Light and Dark(£7.50) which I got last year while shopping online in UK. I have also reviewed e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms in my previous posts which you can find here. e.l.f. products are always fun to shop for. This raved about brand is always affordable and carries good quality products.

I really like the packaging of these palettes, pretty simple! The square shaped palettes are sleek black with a full size mirror inside which makes it very travel friendly. You can also take one of the blushes out of the palette. That way you can create your own palette with your favourite blushes and don’t have to carry too many palettes with you if you are going out on vacation.

Each palette has four shades, two of them have matte finish and other two have subtle shimmer. Each palette has a mix of warm and cool tones, so practically any undertone can find at least two shades to fit their style. The formula of these blushes is softer, super pigmented and easily blendable. You have to use a light hand while application as these blushes are very pigmented. I prefer stippling brush to apply.

The blush palette in Light contains cool pink, neutral tan, warm pink and warm coral. The coral shade contains some fine gold glitters. One shade has light shimmer which does not show up. This palette would be nice for those with medium to fair skin tones. If you have very deep skin tone then build intensity of the shade you like.

The blush palette in Dark contains a warm dusty mauve, deep neutral berry, warm rusty brick red and neutral brick red. The warm rusty brick red contains some gold glitters in it. One shade has light shimmer which does not show up. This palette would work for all skin tones. If you have fair skin then you will need to use a very light hand.

These blushes are not powdery or dusty at all which I really like about these both palettes. The lasting power of this blushes is amazing. I can usually get about 6-7 hours of wear from the shades in both palettes when I am wearing a full face of makeup. Both the palette are great for everyday use and easy to carry when you are travelling.

So what do you think about these e.l.f. blush palettes? Have you tried any of these palettes yet? Let me know your thoughts in comment section below. You can buy e.l.f. products from their website here if you are staying in UK. If you are staying in India you can buy e.l.f. products from iherb.

Mesauda Milano Blush & Contour Palette Review

Today I am reviewing newly released Mesauda Milano Blush & Contour Palette-£33.95 which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. As you might have seen many review posts on my blog about Mesauda Milano Products and how much I love them. The quality of their each and every product is just amazing. I also love Mesauda products packaging, very functional and professional looking. This new Mesauda Milano Blush & Contour Palette has total 8 shades. It has 6 matte blushes and 2 shimmer finish bronzing powder, so it offers everything you need to achieve healthy and fresh complexion and to create sun-kissed look. This palette is perfect match for a radiant and beaming skin tone.

I honestly love the black sleek-slim case which really makes it a joy to travel with. It is super lightweight so it will travel easily with you and who doesn’t love to carry many blushes and contour shades on a vacation right? I know I always want to travel with the contents of my entire makeup collection and any beauty junkie can agree with that feeling. All the 8 shades have nice soft texture to them and build up nicely. They are not crazy pigmented which I really like about this palette, all the shades are very easy to blend. The shades have pleasant mild scent which I really enjoy every time I use this palette. All the 8 shades have been given names – Explosion, Malice, Plum, Initial, Peche, Nature, Golden Brown and Golden Tan.

I love the pink, mauve and coral shades of blushes in this palette. It works well with different skin tones and allow you to vary your look. The warmer shades would look incredible on deeper skin tones. I think the range of shades is quite nice. My favourite shade is Malice, very flattering and gives the most gorgeous, youthful glow to the complexion. The formula is so smooth, silky and blends so nicely. The two bronzing powders can be used to contour. They do have some golden subtle shimmers in them, so if you prefer a matte contour then you might not like these two contour shades. Actually the shimmers in them are very fine and they give a really nice glow to the cheeks and rest of area where you usually contour. The finish look is not shimmery. My favourite thing about this palette is that the two contour shades have more of a taupe hue rather than a bronze hue which is much better for contouring as bronzers tend to have orange undertones instead taupe or grey. It is taupe/grey undertones that really help shade and contour giving that part of the face the appearance of receding. Both the contour shades looks very similar on my Asian medium skin tone. Golden Brown is bit lighter than shade Golden Tan. The staying power of this shades is really good and I have used them couple of times now.

A palette like this is really all you need and for makeup lovers I think Mesauda Milano Blush & Contour Palette is must to build collection! It has highly usable set of high quality blushes in a single, slim, easily stored-and-packed package. Love it! It has quickly become my favourite blush palette and I have been using it every day since I received it!

So what do you think about Mesauda Milano Blush & Contour Palette? Have you tried any Mesauda Milano products? You can buy Mesauda Cosmetics directly from their website here and also from Beauty Crowd here.
