Today I am going to review two products from Vichy Ideal Soleil range BB Tinted Velvety Cream SPF 50+(£15.50) and Velvety Face Cream SPF 50+(£14.50) which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. Vichy Ideal Soleil Suncare Protection range is suitable for all skin types and even sensitive skin too. It protects whole family from the damaging effects of UV rays. From SPF 20 to SPF 50+ range of products available to hydrate, care and protect your skin. Protecting the skin from sun is key step to achieving and retaining youthful radiance. The sun’s rays are comprised of both UVA and UVB rays; these seemingly invisible rays are a prime cause of premature ageing. UVA rays are an environmental aggressor that contributes to premature ageing, they are absorbed more deeply into the skin than UVB rays, damaging the skins elasticity as well as causing dark spots. UVB rays are at their strongest during the warmer summer months, but we are actually exposed to UVA rays all year-long. This means that even when the British weather leaves your BBQ cloudy and overcast, your skin is still exposed to the sun’s harmful UVA rays.
BB Tinted Velvety Cream SPF 50+ and Velvety Face Cream SPF 50+ come in pretty yellow 50ml flip top tube and perfect to carry on in your handbag. These products are free from parabens, hypoallergenic, photostable and water-resistant.
Vichy Ideal Soleil BB Tinted Velvety Cream SPF 50+
The consistency of this BB cream is just perfect neither too thick nor too runny. It smells gorgeous. The formula is meant for people with normal to dry skin, which means it is that extra bit moisturising. This BB cream melts in a skin quickly and leaves soft and silky finish. It blends out well enough. It offers a little coverage and complexion enhancement. It feels really comfortable on skin and so hydrating. It gives light sheer coverage so you have to use concealer to cover any spots or blemishes on face. This tinted sun cream is enriched with Vichy’s Thermal Spa water and Mexoryl XL which protects against sun damage, brown spots and sun induced premature skin ageing. I have used this on my recent holidays and it gives a high protection against sun. I used it as a primer underneath my foundation so I can protect my skin from UVA and UVB rays. After using this BB cream I need a tiny bit of foundation. It leaves the skin with lovely bright and radiant glow whilst looking natural. It did not cause any irritation to my skin and I got full coverage sun protection with no sunburn effect to my dry/sensitive skin. So one layer of application on and skin is well protected.
Vichy Ideal Soleil Velvety Face Cream SPF 50+
Ideal Soleil Velvety Cream includes a wide spectrum filter system and photostable UVA-UVB based Mexoryl The texture of this cream is soft and silky with Hyaluronic Acid, it melts in the skin and immediately plump the skin. The sunscreen is white in colour and I am loving soft floral scent of it. It is quite thicker in consistency as it is for Normal to Dry Sensitive Skin but spreads very easily and blends nicely. It does not leave a whitish cast. It is quite rich sunscreen so for oily skin I think it would be heavy. I have dry combination skin, so after applying this sunscreen my T- Zone area feels bit oily but I set it with compact powder and it looks good. This cream provides full sun protection as it has SPF 50+. I have used it for one week and this cream has protected my skin from the harmful UV rays. I have not faced any tanning or skin burning effect after using this cream. This is water-resistant cream so even if you splash your face with water it will not wash away the cream so it is quite good when you are going for swimming. It is available in both SPF30 and SPF50 variants.
Overall Vichy Ideal Soleil BB Tinted Velvety Cream SPF 50+ and Velvety Face Cream SPF 50+ are very good product and if you looking for some good suncare products you should try this out. So what do you think about Vichy Soleil BB Cream and Velvety Face Cream? Which sun protection products do you use daily? Do let me know in comments.
