e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms

Today I am reviewing three e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balms(£4.50, Rs437.83) which I got last year while I was in UK. Last year I did huge e.l.f. haul but have not got chace to review them on blog. So finally today I am starting with Conditioning Lip Balms. When I opened my package from e.l.f., I was totally surprised how big these lip balms were. You get a lot of product in these containers! You get about 0.26 oz./7.5g. I got three shades Peaceful Pink, Blissful Berry and Mellow Melon. With the e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm, your lips get treated to a sheer splash of color that’s super smooth, velvety soft and non-sticky. Not only are these sheer, natural shades beautiful, they’re also beneficial, with natural ingredients that condition dry, chapped lips including Vitamins A & E. It also has SPF 15 to protect delicate lips against harmful sun damage.

e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm comes in a large glass like plastic pot. I find packaging attractive and very strong. But for application on lips one has to dip fingers to get the product out which is unhygienic and it makes it a little less travel friendly. I apply it with my index finger for even application and opaqueness. Sometimes I use lip brush too. These balms are about twice the size of a traditional lip balm size. These have a small plastic covering over the rim of the lid after opening the main topper. I think it is included so the product would remain fresh.

It has creamy, thicker and moisturising consistency. It feels lightweight on lips though. It has mix of vanilla and coconuty scent which is not overpowering. For a tinted lip conditioner I would say this is quite pigmented and it leaves behind a nice pop of color. The formula wears well on my lips and feels hydrating and quite smooth. It adds nice shine to the lips too. All the three lip balms last about 2-4 hours depending on drinking and eating.

Peaceful Pink is a creamy bubble gum warm pink. It does not have any shimmer, pearl or frost. I really did not expect this product to have much pigment for a tinted lip conditioner. With one swipe, it gives a really natural pink flush to the lips. It is build-able for a pinker look. Peaceful Pink would look good on any skin tone.

Blissful Berry is warm rosy berry shade. It is sheer shade but gives very good colour pay off. If you want darker shade jusy keep layering it. Blissful Berry compliments my lips really well.

Mellow Melon is slightly more on coral shade. It is warm and instantly gives my lips life and a healthy appearance when I put it on.

Overall they are quality budget friendly tinted lip balms, so moisturisng and nourishing. It also has SPF15 to protect our lips from harmful UV rays. I have more reviews coming up on e.l.f. products so keep watching this space. You can buy e.l.f. products directly from their website. If you are staying in India you can buy e.l.f. cosmetics from Amazon, iherb.

Thank you,
