The Jojoba Company’s 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil Review

Today I am reviewing The Jojoba Company’s 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. This is a multi-tasking product which can be used for skin, nails, hairs, lips and hands. This unique, natural wonder ingredient, Jojoba has been natured and gently cold pressed to give the highest quality, ground breaking and purest beauty treatment, guaranteed to benefit a wide range of beauty issues. It is suitable for all skin types and also proven to help with wide range of skin concerns, linked to climate, stress, hormones, sleep, diet and lifestyle; If you have dry and cracked skin, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, sign of skin aging, pigmentation and tone, acne and stretch marks this product would be beneficiary for you. Jojoba Oil is enriched with some powerful antioxidants and added vitamins; Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids, and Vitamins A, D and E.

Youthful skin naturally produce wax esters (lipids produced by skin cells) that are responsible for the deep cleansing and body’s natural conditioning of skin, hair and nails. As our skin ages, was ester production begins to slow down. As a result, the function of was esters are lost, allowing moisture to escape from skin cells which in turns begins the skin aging process. Applying Jojoba Oil to the aging skin puts back what age takes away, working in synergy, with the skin to begin restoring a radiant, youthful complexion. Jojoba Oil has been shown to effectively reduce superficial facial lines by 26% after one hour, 28% after four hours and 11% after 8 hours. It also increase sin suppleness by 50% which means it can used on pregnant women to reduce the risk of stretch marks.

How to use 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil

  • If you are using it on the skin you just need a very small amount, just 1 pump and it would be adequate for one area and massage well into either damp or dry skin to add warmth.
  • There are two benefits of applying this oil on wet skin, both of which are more beneficial to a normal/dry skin type. Jojoba Oil travel fast in water and spreads evenly. It moves under the water layer and absorb into the epidermis to recreate skins natural moisture barrier to lock moisture in the deep skin cells.
  • Once you have massaged the jojoba oil in the skin simply apply your daily moisturiser on top to complete your regime. You can also mix Jojoba oil into your daily moisturiser.
  • It also moisturise and nourish the lips, face, hands, cuticles and body. It leaves you skin feeling smooth and soft.
  • It is also fantastic for hair treatment to give it shine and softness. Take some drops and massage into hair and comb your hair to seal and moisturise the hair follicles whilst giving a unique keratoplastic effect. Jojoba Oil builds onto the keratin on the outer layer, conditioning and preventing the hair from becoming brittle and dull. Before swimming you should apply Jojoba oil as it seals the hair shaft preventing the chlorine greening effect.

I have been using it since week on my body and hair. I have only used it once on my face mixing with my daily day cream and it was good, no skin irritation or nothing. I think if I apply directly on my face it would be too heavy. I have combination skin more on dry side but since last 2 weeks I feel my skin is getting bit oily so I thought not to use on my face. I have read some reviews about this oil before I started using it and noted that many people find the scent of this oil too much, but truly speaking I did not smell anything much, it has natural its own scent which I hardly can smell so even if you are sensitive to scents this oil would not put you off. The formulation of this oil is really high quality and has thin texture, applies evenly on skin without tugging onto the skin. It takes few seconds to absorb completely into skin and does not feel greasy or oily on body. It moisturise and nourish my skin. I also used this Jojoba Oil 3 times for hair treatment, apply on hair and gently massage for some time, leave oil over night and next morning shampoo my hair. The oil rinses off very easily. It really makes my hair more shiny, silky soft and frizz free. For each time after shampoo I have not used any conditioner and still my hair were feeling super soft and bouncy after each wash so yes this oil really works great and I think I am going to repurchase it. I got 15ml bottle which I have finished in one week.

This 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil is much better alternative to the harsh synthetic chemicals we get in some beauty treatments. This oil is suitable for vegans, contains no parabens, chemicals, sulphates, artificial fragrances, colours, perfumes, PEGs, mineral oil. Petrochemicals, animal testing or animal derivatives. You can buy 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil from Amazon UK, Holland & Barrett and www.oneway2naturalhealth.com

Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil Review

Today I am going to review Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil that I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. This month I have been using facial oils for my skin care routine and I just loving them. In last week I have reviewed Bio-Oil and I was quite impressed with it. This facial oil hydrates and brightens skin. The Normalising Manuka Facial Oil is a balancing formula rich in powerful plant extracts designed to help reduce sebum and refine skin’s texture.

Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil comes in a 30ml glass jar with a dropper. It retails for only £19.99 which I think very good price for such a lovely product. It is always very easy and mess free way to dispense the oil from jar with dropper. This product is beautifully packaged and looks pretty sitting on my dresser. This oil contains rich ingredients like Argan Oil, Rose Hip Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, and many more. These all deeply nourish and protect the skin.

Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil helps to achieve a brighter, fresher and youthful looking complexion. The hero ingredient of this product is Manuka Oil. A synergistic blend of oils known for their soothing benefits refresh and re-balance the complexion, whilst refining the appearance of pores. Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil is designed to suit all skin types, so there is no reason not to try this powerful anti-ager for visible skincare results. Just a couple of drops applied daily will visibly hydrate, revitalise and even skin tone whilst essential oils restore skin’s suppleness – all without greasy side effects.

As I said in my many of the post that I do have combination skin and it is more on dry side. Sometimes I see dry patches over my cheeks and forehead. So I have been using this facial oil on my entire face daily morning after bath. This oil refresh, re-balance and refine the skin. This oil is extremely light and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. It is not greasy at all. I have also used this oil at night before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning I don’t see any dry patches on my cheeks or forehead and my skin tone looks brighter, fresh and more even.

Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil is very easy to apply, dispense a few drips onto your fingertips and gently massage into the face, neck and décolletage until absorbed. You can use it alone or under your day/night cream. You can also add few drops of this oil into your daily cream and then apply on your face. I have been using it alone but I will also try to use it with my creams. I am not liking the smell of this, but it is not bothering me either. It does not last when on the skin so after a couple of minutes I don’t really notice it. I am loving this oil as I can see the benefits of it for my dry skin especially on my forehead and cheeks.

Have you tried Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil? Have you got the best results with Manuka Doctor Normalising Facial Oil? Have you used any products from Manuka Doctor? Please share your thoughts in comment, I would love to know.

Balmi Cube Lip Balm Raspberry Review

Today I am going to review Balmi Cube Lip Balm Raspberry which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. If you ask me what beauty essential I simply could not live without it would have to be lip balm! I love and am obsessed with many beauty products but I do not think I could live without lip balm and there is not one area of the house that doesn’t have some type of lip balm in the vicinity.

This is a cool lip balm and something of a super balm, containing all kinds of goodness including SPF 15, shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E to help leave your lips moisturised, soft and super smooth. The Balmi Lip Balm has the perfect blend of ingredients to give your lips long-lasting daily care and protection. Perfect for even sensitive skin. The Balmi Lip Balms are available in 5 flavours – Strawberry (pastel pink), Raspberry (red/hot pink) Coconut (white) Blackcurrant (purple) and Mint (mint green). They are as much a fashion accessory as they are a beauty essential.

I just love the packaging and hot pink colour of it, I was drawn to it. This cube packaging in hot pink is cute and quirky. The Balmi Lip Balm cube feels smooth and slightly rubbery to the touch, there is also a little key ring attachment on the actual cube which is adorable. When I opened it I was expecting to see a cube shaped lip balm inside but nope it was a cone. Now this is unlike anything I have used before, in a cube container, this product is seriously unique. This cone shape actually makes the application very easy. A quick circular motion with it and your lips are fully covered.

Balmi raspberry lip balm definitely smells fruity. I love how delicious it smells. It glides on really easily and has a lovely, fruity taste. The flavour is not overpowering, it tastes very much like a nice raspberry sorbet. It is very smooth to apply and it is super moisturising and lasts for a while on my lips, it just smells so yummy too that I keep wanting to apply it! I really like the texture of the balm. It is soft and goes on very well and there is no greasiness and most important, there is definitely no stickiness.

It is clear, feels quite thick and is smooth on the lips which is nice as it builds a great protective moisture barrier – not to mention the SPF qualities. Plus, it lasts just as long as any other lip balm would. With such a fun design and application, using this product a delight.

I am really loving this Balmi Lip Balm and I am going to try other flavours too. Have you tried any of the Balmi Lip Balm flavours? Which one is your favourite?

You can buy cute Balmi Lip Balms from Boots and Tesco. Hope you enjoyed this post.

Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Today I am going to review Natural Hair Care Products. I love to try and discover new natural Bath and Beauty products. Over the years I have tried many hair care lines and some of them really worked well for my hairs. I never miss a chance to try new hair care products just in case If I find something that really works better than current products I am using.

Today I am going to review Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner that I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. Other 2 products I will review later on my blog. Weleda’s Oat Replenishing hair care products contain organic oat extract to help strengthen hair, reduce breakage and mend split ends, organic jojoba seed oil to restore, protect and smooth the hair’s surface, while organic sage leaf extract revitalizes and protects from damage. The oat range is for dry and damaged hair which I think most women suffer from these days as we colour our hairs and also use heat styling products this all make your hair dry and damaged. Oats have an extremely high water uptake which is great for moisture and conditioning.

Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo comes in a white bottle that holds 190ml of product and it has a push cap for the shampoo to be dispensed. The Conditioner comes in an orange colour squeezable tube with white flip cap and sealed tightly so you can carry it in your handbag without worrying about any leakage.

Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo is made with 72% organic ingredients. Containing organic jojoba oil and extracts of organic oat and sage; smoothes the hair’s surface, reduces breakage and split ends and improves suppleness. The formula of the shampoo is a bit runny. This shampoo has a floral smell. This shampoo does not lather up much on first wash. I wash my hairs alternative days and I always put hair oil before washing my hair and keep it for at least 2 hours before I wash my hair. I have to take lot of shampoo to remove oil from my hairs and ones they are oil free this shampoo lather nicely but not like other shampoo that I use. Therefore, if you are used to a foaming shampoo, you may be a little thrown off initially.

This shampoo is also easy to rinse out. Once my hairs are dry, they feel so soft, clean and healthy. I have normal hairs but in winter sometimes I find them dry. Even next day my hairs are still soft and not greasy at all. I am really happy with this shampoo.

Weleda Oat Replenishing Conditioner contains organic oat extract and white mallow extract which provides intensive moisture, while organic jojoba seed oil smoothes hair’s surface. Organic coconut oil will leave strands shiny and soft. It has very thick texture almost like a body butter. It is not the type of conditioner which oozes out of the tube all smooth and ready to be put in your hair. You have to rub it between your palms and then apply to your hairs. It has very similar flowery scent to the shampoo and I also can smell coconut in it. I am not loving smell of this conditioner much but shampoo is smelling good.

This conditioner is very rich and hydrates well without weighing down the hair. After using this, my hair is left feeling incredibly smooth and a little more manageable. I have been left with stronger and healthier looking hairs. Oats in this range work perfectly.

Have you tried any Weleda products? What are your favourite natural hair care brands? Would you ever have thought Oats were good for your hair?

Overall I am so happy with both of this Weleda Products and I see myself buying this products again in future. If you are suffering from dry and damaged hairs then you must try Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner. You can buy Weleda Products from Boots too.
