Today I am going to review Balmi Cube Lip Balm Raspberry which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. If you ask me what beauty essential I simply could not live without it would have to be lip balm! I love and am obsessed with many beauty products but I do not think I could live without lip balm and there is not one area of the house that doesn’t have some type of lip balm in the vicinity.

This is a cool lip balm and something of a super balm, containing all kinds of goodness including SPF 15, shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E to help leave your lips moisturised, soft and super smooth. The Balmi Lip Balm has the perfect blend of ingredients to give your lips long-lasting daily care and protection. Perfect for even sensitive skin. The Balmi Lip Balms are available in 5 flavours – Strawberry (pastel pink), Raspberry (red/hot pink) Coconut (white) Blackcurrant (purple) and Mint (mint green). They are as much a fashion accessory as they are a beauty essential.

I just love the packaging and hot pink colour of it, I was drawn to it. This cube packaging in hot pink is cute and quirky. The Balmi Lip Balm cube feels smooth and slightly rubbery to the touch, there is also a little key ring attachment on the actual cube which is adorable. When I opened it I was expecting to see a cube shaped lip balm inside but nope it was a cone. Now this is unlike anything I have used before, in a cube container, this product is seriously unique. This cone shape actually makes the application very easy. A quick circular motion with it and your lips are fully covered.

Balmi raspberry lip balm definitely smells fruity. I love how delicious it smells. It glides on really easily and has a lovely, fruity taste. The flavour is not overpowering, it tastes very much like a nice raspberry sorbet. It is very smooth to apply and it is super moisturising and lasts for a while on my lips, it just smells so yummy too that I keep wanting to apply it! I really like the texture of the balm. It is soft and goes on very well and there is no greasiness and most important, there is definitely no stickiness.

It is clear, feels quite thick and is smooth on the lips which is nice as it builds a great protective moisture barrier – not to mention the SPF qualities. Plus, it lasts just as long as any other lip balm would. With such a fun design and application, using this product a delight.

  1. I bought one of theese balmi lip balms and put it in my bag one day, so a few hours latermy lips fwlt chapped and i went to go and take it out of my bag and it hadnexploded everywhere all over everything n my bag, i do not recommemd buyimg it if you are looking for somwthing sturdy at all.

  4. I recieved this from my friend for christmas and I have already used it all. My ‘twist’ closure broke because my little sister decided to play with it. Because of this it kept coming undone and scraping large holes into it. So I didn’t have the most usage I could have had. I would defiantly buy it again.

    • Hello Leah, Great to know that You have used this lip balm. Oh sad to know it broke but still you can use it with fingers.
