Treaclemoon The Raspeberry Kiss Bath and Shower Gel Review

Recently I have been trying many Bath & Shower Gels and I will review them in coming days one by one. Today I am reviewing Treaclemoon The Raspeberry Kiss Bath and Shower Gel which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. This is my very first product from Treaclemoon I have ever tried. Treaclemoon is an independent UK brand, available at Tesco and Waitrose from just £2.49. Treaclemoon launched in 2007 and offers a wide range of bath and shower gels, body scrubs, hand washes, hand lotions and body butters. There are also gorgeous gift packs available in variety of scents like Coconut Island, The Raspberry Kiss, Vanilla Moment, Lemonade Days, Ginger Morning, Marshmallow Hearts, Almond Tart and Iced Strawberry Dream. Treaclemoon products are not tested on animals and their formulations do not contain any animal derived ingredients and they are suitable for vegetarians.

In keeping with the brand’s philosophy, Treaclemoon has recently announced its official treaclemoon partnership with BulliesOut a fantastic charity that provides help and information to individuals, schools, workplaces, and community settings, to support a vision whereby all young people are able to recognise their self-worth and potential, and flourish in caring environments that foster positive futures. Treaclemoon supports BulliesOut with monthly treaclemoon donations and has pledged to work with them, this year, to help raise further funds and awareness of the charity’s work, with a programme of activity and merchandise. You can find out more about the work of BulliesOut at www.bulliesout.com. They also recently announced the treaclemoonlaunch of two new initiatives to say ‘thank you’ to its customer base. Keep an eye on the brand’s Facebook page (treaclemoonOfficial) to spot regular appearances from Charles Henry Nelson, the garden gnome, which signal the chance to #Gnomenate a friend to receive some pampering goodies from the range (nominees will also receive a gift for being a kind friend!). And/or follow @treaclemoon_UK on twitter to be in with the chance of being plucked from the shower hat to receive a #HappyMonday surprise, for no other treaclemoonreason than it makes the team at smile.

The Raspberry Kiss Bath & Shower Gel comes in simple and clear 500ml plastic bottle and has black flip open cap. I love the little quotes written on bottles. On the back is also has a cute little text. The text is about the creators of Treacle Moon, in a very fun way. I love how they describe things with such details. It just adds so much more character to something in a way and is a lovely touch. It smells so fruity, sweet but not too over powering. It has perfect consistency neither too thick nor too runny which I always prefer as it stays on skin for longer. You can use the shower gel in your bath as well but I’ve been using it in the shower every day as it creates lots of bubbles and smell so amazing very raspberry. It makes my skin feel very refreshed and soft. The scent does linger on for a long time on me which I love in a product. It does not dry out my skin at all after shower but I always follow-up with some body butters or lotions to keep my skin well moisturised. Overall it is great shower gel and I am definitely going to explore other scents too as they look so tempting.

What do you think about Treaclemoon The Raspeberry Kiss Bath and Shower Gel? Have yo tried any products from Treaclemoon Bath and Body Collection? Do you have favourite Treaclemoon scent? You can buy Treaclemoon products from Tesco and Waitrose.

Thank you,

SilkyResh

  1. This sounds delicious! I haven’t seen TreacleMoon products in ages, but I think I should check again!

At the moment I’m in love with Asda’s own brand NSPA. They also do a raspberry line and even a fragrance. Well, it’s a 200 ml body mist for £3. Dirt cheap, but it smells quite decent.

Anyway, good to see I’m not the only one obsessed with shower gels. 🙂
