Ultrasun Face Anti-Pigmentation SPF50+ Review

I have not posted anything since last 4 days as I was on mini vacation at Highlands and enjoyed lot there. I did not get time to post anything on blog. This month I have been reviewing many sun protection products on my blog. In past few days I have reviewed some sun protection products for hair and face. Today I am going to review one more sun protection product for face – Ultrasun Face Anti-Pigmentation SPF50+ (£32.00) which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. Pigmentation is the top skin worry for women as an uneven skin tone can be ageing. Brown patches of pigmentation can appear on hands, face and décolletage areas and are often caused by sun exposure and specifically the UVA rays which penetrate deep into your skin and cause ageing. When we think about treating pigmentation only option comes in mind is lasers which is quite costly and can be painful. Thanks to Ultrasun for developing an anti-ageing sun protection cream with anti-pigmentation technology which is suitable for even the most ultra-sensitive skin! With a highly effective broad spectrum protection (UVA + UVB), this NEW product is a sun protection and daily skin care in one. The combination of these revolutionary complexes result in a visible brightening of existing pigmentation, providing results in just 14 days.

Ultrasun is a Swiss brand that started in 1992, specialising in ‘Professional All Day Sun Protection’. Their products are perfect for the whole family, including babies and those with skin sensitivity and sun allergies. This advanced combination of broad-spectrum protection with SPF50+ plus powerful antioxidants and remarkable anti-pigmentation ingredients. It helps to reduce intensity of existing pigmentation whilst protecting against future skin ageing. The hero ingredient included in all the Ultrasun face products, Ectoin is a revolutionary and rare natural enzyme that protects the skin from the effects of UVA induced damage to prevent UVA induced premature photo ageing. The fast-absorbing, extremely light and non-greasy texture is free from emulsifiers, perfumes and preservatives, and kind to sensitive skins.

It comes in 50ml plastic bottle with airless pump dispenser. The packaging is simple yet strong. You can find all the useful details regarding product use and ingredients on front and back side of bottle. The hygienic airless pump dispenser also prevents product deterioration and contamination, so no pesky sand can find its way in. The texture of this cream is light and sinks in quickly leaving a matt finish. Generally I apply most of my sunscreens after moisturisers but this need to be applied on clean, dry skin and if you want follow up with moisturisers. It spreads evenly and gives bit shiny effect on skin. It does not feel greasy or sticky on face. It is very moisturising and I don’t feel like to apply my daily moisturiser layer on top. Ultrasun sun cream also works well as makeup primer, but wait for few minutes between Ultrasun and your make up application. This helps to settle down everything on face. I and my husband both have been using Ultrasun Face Anti-Pigmentation SPF50+ since few weeks and our skin looks and feels amazing after each use.

This cream is water-resistant so is ideal for using in sweaty conditions.  This is amazing all in one product and it can definitely replace your antioxidant serum, daily moisturiser + sunscreen in one step. It is a photo-stable sunscreen, which provides both UVA and UVB protection, doesn’t need re-applying. Of course, choosing a good sun cream isn’t enough, it needs to be applied properly for it to be effective.
