KIKO Luxurious Lashes Maxi Brush Mascara and Precision Eyebrow Pencil(03) Review

Today I am going to review KIKO Luxurious Lashes Maxi Brush Mascara and Precision Eyebrow Pencil(03) which I have been sent very kindly to review on my blog. In my previous post I have reviewed KIKO 3D Instant Volume Lipglosses which you can find here. KIKO Milano have variety of mascara in their collection. They have Vomumizing Mascaras, Lengthening Mascaras, Curling Mascaras, Top Coat Mascaras and Active Mascaras. Eye makeup is incomplete without mascaras and eyebrow pencil, Who does not love Mascaras? Who does not want big wide open eyes and lashes?

KIKO Luxurious Lashes Maxi Brush Mascara – £7.20

A new, sophisticated beauty gesture for defined, sculpted full lashes with a plush appearance. This mascara comes in a nice blingy blingy gold packaging and looks really luxurious. The maxi brush with “total grip,” in synergy with the mascara’s gliding and creamy texture, captures each single lash, enhancing its volume and definition from the root. The outline of your gaze opens immediately, acquiring absolute curve and definition. The unique formulation with collagen and hyaluronic acid spheres moisturizes and protects the structure of the lashes, making them flexible and extraordinarily soft.  A select mix of vegetable waxes combined with film-forming polymers creates a fine elastic sheath covering the entire length of the lash.

This mascara also has some sweet smell which is not overpowering and I quite enjoy that smell while applying mascara. The brush does magic to your lashes, it captures each lash to boost volume and gives nice curl to lashes. Your lashes appear to be multiplied, precisely redefined along their entire curve, without clots or build-up. The brush has a special curved shape at tip which allows easy application on the outer lashes. This brush is very dense and therefore it helps to lengthen and thicken your eyelashes. However initially I had some difficulty while using this brush to my lower lashes and inner corner lashes. With a bit of practice you get good results.

The formula of this mascara neither too wet nor too dry and stays on my lashes for about 10-11 hours without smudging and flaking. I think my lashes look great with this mascara and they are nice black and only need a single layer to achieve big lashes. It also dries fast. At the end of the day it is very easy to remove with makeup remover.

The voluminous applicator, rich with bristles with a special helical structure, lavishly coats the lashes for an overall reshaping effect. I recommend this mascara to anyone who wants longer and thicker lashes. The maxi brush makes the application more easy.

KIKO Precision Eyebrow Pencil(03) – £5.90

The packaging of KIKO Precision Eyebrow Pencil is really simple. It is plain wooden pencil with micro-precision hard formula and separator comb. The formula contains high-melt waxes ensuring adherence, precision and a long-lasting line. The fine point allows the shape of the eyebrows to be outlined or accentuated with a fine, precise line, giving a natural finish. Sharpener included. Available in four colours.

It is easy to sharpen, it doesn’t crack. Holding the pencil is easy and fits comfortably in my small hands. It is thin and very lightweight. It’s quite a hard pencil which means you won’t distribute the colour too much on the brow. The shade I got 03 is too red for my eyebrows. If you have black brows then 01 or 02 would be perfect. You can achieve different effects with this eyebrow pencil – from natural to bold brows, and the staying power is great. It stays in place for the whole day.

Your eyebrows can be drawn naturally and precisely. I usually only use it to define the arch of my brow anyway because I don’t have a lot of gaps. Overall it is really good eyebrow pencil.

Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Have you tried KIKO Mascaras or Eyebrow Pencils? Which are your favourite products from KIKO?

Thank you,

SilkyResh
