W7 Neon Nights Electric Eyeshadow Palette Review/Swatch

Today I am going to review W7 Neon Nights Electric Eyeshadow Palette which I have been sent very kindly to try and review on my blog. I have not played with neon shades earlier so I was really excited to try this palette. I think this palette is perfect for colour festival, mardi grass festival and all. When I was looking at Urban Decay’s collection I found Urban Decay’s Electric palette which has same shades of W7. I was really surprised that I found one more dupe! So W7 Neon Nights Electric Eyeshadow Palette is dupe of Urban Decay’s Electric Palette. I have not tried Urban Decay’s one so I cannot compare both.

The packaging is lovely. It is transparent and you can see all the shades from top. The packaging of this palette looks like it is made of glass but actually it is plastic and packaging is quite strong and light weight. All the ingredients are listed at the back of the palette and sadly eyeshadows have not given any names. This palette comes with double ended applicator, one side sponge and other side is brush. The actual brush is quite good to use. Sponge side I rarely use for my inner corners of eyes.

I know brighter and vibrant eyeshadows are not everyone’s choice. And this shades you cannot wear daily. If you are really into bright makeup and looks then this is perfect for you. The eyeshadows in this palette are nice and smooth. This palette consists mixture of matte and shimmer shades. All the colors are blend-able and very easy to work. This palette also has long-lasting formula and won’t fade easily over/without primer. Most of the shades are nicely pigmented but few of them are noticeable but they don’t have good pigmentation. Like Yellow, Teal and Toxic Apple colour eyeshadows don’t have good colour payoff so for those shades have to use white base. I think if all the shades applied wet then they will be more pigmented. Yellow and neon Pink shades are bit chalky but they apply pretty well. Silver shade in this palette can be used as highlighter.

I quite like the last six colours, right side of the palette. I am not sure about orange and yellow. In swatches I have not used primer, and I have swiped each colour 2-3 times on my hand. The matte shades are bit chalky as I said. There is also slight fall out during application but for low retail price I cannot really complain.

I am going to use most of the shades as eyeliner I am sure they will look cool as eyeliner. Some of the shades you can also use on lower lash line too. This neon colours are more appropriate for spring and summer looks. Overall this palette is good and if you love neon colours then this palette might be too good for you and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a palette with many different looks that include some lovely colours to add a little pop.

What do you think about W7 Neon Nights Electric Eyeshadow Palette? Have you tried neon eyeshadows earlier? How much do you love neon shades? This palette you can buy at retail price £5.00 to £7.00 from eBay, Amazon and many other websites.

Thank you,

SilkyResh
